How do you think about this model made by FDM 3D printing machine?

All boys want to own all kinds of toys in their life, specially the little boys. And they want to give some unique presents to their friends and classmates. The FDM 3d printing machine can achieve their thinking. The gun above the picture was made by MINGDA FDM 3D printing machine for a little boy to give a classmate as a birthday gift. It looks cool and real, right?

Talking about the sample, have you ever thought that you can own an AK47? If you want an AK47, you can buy a fdm 3d printing machine, then let printer to print out it. There are some simple process I want to say. First download the model drawings online, and then use the 3d printer to print out the accessories, assembled, and then print the bullet ... does it sound excited and afraid? However, no matter what, people in the world have already begun to do, using a FDM 3D printing machine to print an AK47 both durability and power can be comparable with the real AK47.

The world's first entirely FDM 3D printed AK47 made of ABS plastic: in 2013, 25-year-old University of Texas law student Cody Wilson, founder of Defense Distributed, has provided Forbes.com images of the first 3D-printed handgun. Defense Distributed calls this sample the "Liberator" which is a small pistol-like weapon made of sixteen pieces. Each of these pieces was "3D printed with a Stratasys Dimension SST printer in ABS plastic, with the exception of a single nail that's used as a firing pin," Greenberg reports.

"The sample is designed to fire standard handgun rounds, using interchangeable barrels for different calibers of ammunition." He adds.

The only part which was not printed is a six ounce chunk of steel being inserted into the body to make it detectable by metal detectors in order to comply with the Undetectable Firearms Act.
